Privacy policy for image, PDF and video metadata cleaning
Last updated: September 22, 2026. This page explains the cleaners' features, what happens to selected files, and how optional cookies, sponsor ads and contact messages work.
Image metadata cleaner: EXIF, GPS and embedded information
The image cleaner accepts JPG, PNG and WebP files, with up to 20 images per batch and a 25 MB limit per image. It checks recognized metadata categories and creates new image exports rather than editing your originals.
You can choose an output format, retain original dimensions or reduce image size, and adjust JPEG or WebP export quality. Preview the result before downloading individual images or a ZIP batch. Re-encoding may change image quality, color or file size; keeping the same dimensions does not mean the file is byte-for-byte identical.
Recognized metadata can include EXIF camera information, GPS location, XMP, IPTC and supported embedded content credentials. Detection is limited to supported file structures, not a guarantee that every possible identifying signal has been found. See our EXIF and GPS removal guide.
PDF metadata cleaner: document properties and XMP
The PDF cleaner accepts one PDF at a time, up to 50 MB. It checks standard document properties such as title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, creation date and modification date, plus document-level XMP metadata and the language property.
Cleaning targets these supported properties in a new PDF copy. It is intended to preserve pages, text and links, not to redact the document. After cleaning, a completion dialog and result section offer a preview and download. Built-in PDF preview support varies by browser; download the file to inspect it in a PDF reader if an inline preview is unavailable.
Downloads use rasmiclean_ai_ followed by the original PDF filename. Selection count, file size, detected properties and a clear control help you review the selected document. The original filename may itself contain personal information; rename your download before sharing if needed.
Encrypted and digitally signed PDFs are not supported. Do not use this cleaner on a document whose signature must remain valid. It is not a PDF redaction or sanitization tool: visible personal details, comments, form values, attachments, custom properties or metadata in embedded objects may remain. Review the downloaded copy before sharing it.
Read the PDF metadata cleaner guide or open the cleaner.
Video metadata cleaner: local processing and quality options
The video cleaner accepts one MP4, WebM, MOV or M4V file at a time, up to 250 MB. Actual support depends on the file's codecs and available browser memory. The browser downloads a local processing engine of approximately 31 MB on first use; this is a download of software, not an upload of your video.
The metadata scan checks recognized container tags. Cleaning targets supported container metadata and chapters. A scan failure means metadata could not be inspected, not that the video has no metadata. Neither a successful scan nor a clean export certifies that every provenance signal has been removed.
- Original quality: copies supported video and audio streams without re-encoding. Container structure, metadata and file size may still change.
- Resolution options: 4K (2160p), 2K (1440p), 1080p, 720p, 480p and 144p create re-encoded MP4 outputs. These are size targets, not guarantees of improved detail or original quality.
- Review and download: selected-file details, a clear control, progress feedback, a completion popup, playable output preview, download buttons and a clean-another-video action support the workflow.
Downloads begin with rasmiclean_ai_ and retain the original base filename. Resized exports also include the selected resolution. Larger videos may take longer or fail on memory-limited devices. Review playback and audio before sharing the result.
PDF and video tools may be hidden when the administrator disables them in site settings.
What metadata removal does not do
These tools are metadata cleaners, not proof that a file is anonymous, human-created or free of all tracking information. They do not remove visible watermarks, invisible pixel or audio watermarks such as SynthID, or identifying details visible or audible in the content.
Removing supported metadata does not guarantee that Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or another platform will stop displaying an AI-content label. Platforms can use signals beyond the fields this website detects. Follow each platform's disclosure requirements and do not treat a clean export as evidence of non-AI origin.

Previews, downloads and browser storage
The app-install banner remembers dismissal for the current browser session. A local installation hint is used for up to 30 days after installation or use of the installed app; where supported, the browser checks the actual installed-app state. These preferences stay in this browser and are not sent to our server. Browsers cannot always detect whether an app has been removed; installation and opening instructions remain available from the header button.
Selected files and generated copies are held in browser memory for processing and preview. Clearing a selection or closing the page releases the application's references; this is not a secure-erasure guarantee. Downloaded files remain wherever your browser saves them until you delete them. The administrator cannot view your selected files through the cleaner or its admin dashboard.
Where offline support is available, the service worker caches public application files such as scripts, styles and icons. It does not cache selected files, generated exports, admin pages or API responses. Video processing may still require a connection to load its engine. You can remove cached application files and local preferences through your browser's site-data settings.
Using the website still makes ordinary network requests for pages, software assets and site settings. The no-upload claim applies to files chosen for cleaning, not to information you deliberately submit through contact or consent forms. Browser extensions, shared-device access and third-party PDF readers are outside this site's control.
Cookie choices
The site asks whether you want to accept cookies for sponsor ads. You can optionally choose interests. Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days. If you accept, a separate HttpOnly cookie links this browser to a server record containing selected interests, consent settings and an update date. No name or email is requested by the current consent form. Older records may contain details previously provided through an earlier version.
Choose Essential only to use the cleaner without sponsor ads or an optional profile. Use Privacy choices on the homepage to change interests or turn ads off and request deletion of the saved profile. If the server cannot be reached, deletion may need to be retried when connected.
Sponsor ads and measurement
After you accept, eligible sponsor campaigns may appear in a corner card and a banner at the end of the page. Interests show the operator which topics visitors like; they do not determine which ads appear. A view is counted after an ad has been at least half visible in the foreground for five seconds. Clicks are counted when you select a sponsor link. The database stores campaign and day totals, not a per-visitor browsing history. Demo ads are marked and are not counted.
Ads are managed directly by this site. Ad creative is served by this site without third-party advertising scripts. Sponsor links open websites with their own privacy practices.
Contact messages
If you use the contact form, the name, email, topic and message you submit are saved in the admin inbox. They are visible to the site administrator and removed after 180 days unless deleted sooner. The form does not require an ad cookie. Do not include passwords or confidential document contents in messages.
Retention and deletion
Optional profiles, contact messages and aggregate ad counts are subject to a 180-day active-database retention period. Turning off ads requests deletion of the profile record and expiration of its cookie. Previous anonymous aggregate counts cannot be linked back to an individual. Browser or device changes may remove the cookie needed for self-service deletion.
Admin and infrastructure
An HttpOnly admin cookie supports administrator login, with a default session duration of 30 minutes. Admin-only functions require server-side authentication. The application temporarily uses connection addresses for rate limiting and does not store IP addresses or user-agent strings in its application database. Hosting providers or reverse proxies may keep separate access logs. Administrators can view saved interest choices, contact messages and older profile details, if present, but not files selected for local cleaning.
Privacy questions
Use the contact page for privacy questions, deletion assistance or site issues.
Use the site operator's published contact details for privacy questions. The operator can configure a contact email in Site settings.
